The Grass is Always Greener

It’s always difficult to do things in life that you know really don’t make you happy but you just have to do them. A friend of mine had a chat with me about how unhappy he is with his career and he really wants to just do something else, something more inline with where his passion truly lies. He also confessed that he is generally unhappy in life, his relationship isn’t doing that great, he is always in a foul mood and most importantly he knows what he wants to do but doesn’t know how go get there,

My advice to him was very simple, that is that he can’t be focussed and achieve what he wants without understanding that you really need to have the right attitude and mindset to achieve his desires. Being frustrated and constantly in a negative mood will only make the matter worse. I told him to think about life 5 years after his idea matures and use that as a drive for success. Furthermore, I told him you need to have a written plan and really adhere to that plan before he can achieve some degree of success.

Often people want to do something further in life but don’t know how to get there. Having a simple plan with a positive attitude can go a long way. For example if part of your idea requires some degree of investment then a positive mindset can really project an image that your potential investors are looking for. Keeping a negative outlook will only hold you back. So there is something you have been itching to do, do some research on requirement, write down a plan, follow the plan and most importantly remain positive.
