Most people I talk to have a new years resolution to knock off the holiday weight and then some in an effort to get lean again. However, for some that resolution lasts merely days before people begin to skip the gym, eat the wrong food and console themselves by saying “only today, tomorrow I will be good”. Have you heard that before? I’m sure you have

The secret to losing weight and becoming fit again is 80% in your diet. So if you cant afford to make regular visits to the gym, control your eating. Ensure you eat 5-6 small meals daily which will keep your metabolism to its peak daily. Furthermore, start to walk more, take the stairs at work and avoid eating high starch food at night.

Now you may feel like you just cant do it and that you have to have that chocolate bar or piece of cake. However, picture yourself in a few weeks and imagine how you would look if you continued a healthy life style. Keep in the back of your mind that the sooner you start, the sooner you will put off your goal and everyday that you tell yourself that you will start tomorrow really means that you lack the confidence and staring your new lifestyle is no where in the near foreseeable future. So keep that mental picture of how you would like to look like in 6 months time in the back of your head when considering that next big piece of cake. Opt for something lighter and healthier and the new you will present itself before you even know it.
